Our experience designing and implementing high performance technical facilities combines deep expertise with a hefty dose of common sense. Our philosophy is to design a building that walks gently on the Earth and does not require much energy in the first place, then use renewable energy such as solar to make up the difference (thus zero energy).
We call this our “State of the Shelf” approach to building technology, we do not approach zero energy from an experimental standpoint. Our real world tested expertise to building science, daylight and energy modeling, and construction and mechanical systems ensures that you’re getting a building that we know will work as expected. Costs are controlled because we save the most energy and money using no cost passive design strategies, and then layer on high efficiency systems that are cost competitive compared to a code minimum project.
