Ashley McGraw Architects Attends NCCCC 53rd Annual Conference

Ashley McGraw Architects is proud to announce its participation in the 53rd Annual Conference and Professional Institute of the National Coalition for Campus Children's Centers (NCCCC), taking place from March 19-22, 2025 in Philadelphia, PA. This event offers a unique opportunity for leaders from campus children's centers across the country to exchange insights, best practices, and innovative strategies aimed at meeting the changing needs of children, families, and the early childhood workforce within higher education. 

Representing Ashley McGraw at the event will be Mike Lindstrom, AIA, LEED AP, Principal of the Early Education Studio; Liz Hall, RA, Associate Principal; and Samantha Espinoza, Marketing Manager. This premier event brings together leaders from campus children’s centers across the nation to exchange insights, best practices, and strategies aimed at addressing the evolving needs of children, families, and the early childhood workforce in higher education. 

Mike Lindstrom, a dedicated NCCCC participant since 2010, has delivered numerous presentations on the design of early education spaces. As strong supporters of NCCCC, Ashley McGraw Architects will play an active role in various important conference activities. 

  • Makerspace Partnership: In partnership with Guidecraft and William Patterson University, Ashley McGraw will co-host an engaging makerspace during the conference, offering hands-on experiences to explore design in an enjoyable and interactive way. 

  • Roundtable Discussion on Trauma-Informed Design: On March 21 at 2:00 PM, Liz Hall, RA, will lead a roundtable discussion on “Trauma-Informed Design for Early Childhood Education Spaces.” This session will explore how thoughtful design can support children and families experiencing trauma, with practical examples of design strategies that foster healing and resilience. 

  • University of Pennsylvania Children’s Center Tour: On March 22, from 9:30 to 11:30 AM, Ashley McGraw will co-host a tour of the University of Pennsylvania Children's Center. The tour will highlight the renovation process, showcasing how design principles can enhance spaces for early childhood education.
