Kyle Gregory Appointed to the Syracuse Landmark Preservation Board
Kyle Gregory, Associate Principal, was appointed to the Syracuse Landmark Preservation Board (SLPB) in August 2023. The board consists of seven members who are appointed by the Mayor of Syracuse. Their purpose is “to recognize, celebrate, and protect Syracuse's built heritage, including buildings, landscapes, sites, and districts. The SLPB identifies and recommends to Common Council the designation of significant historic and cultural resources as Protected Sites and Preservation Districts.”
Gregory joined Ashley McGraw in 2009 and has over 23 years of experience. He advocates for maximizing the potential of historic and cultural resources to participate in the regeneration of communities and a positive and sustainable future. Gregory’s extensive project experience in the respectful renovation and restoration of existing buildings reflects his passion for design and sustainability.
Gregory shared this about his appointment. “Cities are built from stories as much as structures and the ways in which the two intersect can define the character of a place. This is especially true of Syracuse, and I am excited by this new opportunity to help reinforce the physical and ephemeral resources that make Syracuse uniquely special.”
