Ashley McGraw Architects Hosts 3rd Annual Golf Outing
On Thursday, June 6, Ashley McGraw Architects hosted our 3rd annual golf outing at The Pompey Club. A total of 28 teams competed with 100+ golfers consisting of clients, teaming partners, vendors, and Ashley McGraw staff. The rainy weather at the beginning added an extra layer of difficulty to the already challenging course before sunny skies emerged along the picturesque course. Contests throughout the day included a putting contest, skins, longest drive, closest to the pin, and furthest from the pin.
The team from Rich and Gardner Construction Company won this year’s tournament with a score of -12. Skaneateles Central School District secured the second spot, finishing with a score of -8, while Pathfinder Engineers claimed the third position with a score of -7. The winners of the longest drive were Jun Young Park (Ashley McGraw) and Elaina Burchell (Dannible & McKee). The players closest to the pin were Calvin Ahn (Ashley McGraw) and Brenda Law (Syracuse University). Lori Mudge (Whitney Point Central School District) was the golfer furthest from the pin. The winners of this year's putting contest were Doug Tankersley (Syracuse University) and Stacey Albunio (Appel Osborne Landscape Architecture). Congratulations to this year's winners!
The event again concluded with a delicious barbeque dinner where the tournament winners were celebrated. The 50/50 raffle and door prizes were also awarded following the meal. We would like to express our thanks to the Pompey Club for once again hosting the event and to everyone who participated especially our teaming partners/vendors for their generous contributions and sponsorships. We look forward to seeing everyone next year as we continue this tradition!
