Deborah leads the operational and financial work for the firm, enjoying being the left-brain thinker amid her creative colleagues.  With a background in academia, international diplomacy, and the private sector, Deborah brings a combination of leadership experience in the markets the firm serves. She oversees the firm’s finances, human resources, IT, and marketing.

Prior to joining Ashley McGraw, Deborah lived and moved frequently around the world.  She has a Ph.D. in the leadership of higher education from the University of Virginia, and an MBA in Finance from James Madison University, An avid outdoors and sports lover, Deborah spends time every day mountain biking or skiing the forest trails in Central New York’s beautiful drumlin ranges.  Accompanied by her husband and two dogs, she rides about 2,000 miles a year and works steadily to convince others to take up the sport.
