On November 17th, 2023, Edward McGraw, Founding Partner/Partner Emeritus, received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the American Institute of Architects (AIA) CNY’s Celebration of Architecture. The ceremony, which was held at Syracuse’s Landmark Theatre, was a celebration of all facets of architecture within the Central New York region. The Lifetime Achievement Award “recognizes a lifetime of notable and impactful contributions by an architect to the profession, the professional society, and the community.”

Joining them for the presentation was Dr. Peter Smith, Superintendent of Jamesville-DeWitt Central School District. Ashley McGraw’s presentation discussed a series of new spaces at Jamesville Dewitt Middle School that challenge the idea of the static classroom and create a flexible spatial toolset for instructors to support evolving learning modalities and methodologies.

Onondaga Community College Unveils Renderings for Micron Cleanroom Simulation Lab

The Micron Cleanroom Simulation Lab, a 5,000 square feet facility with ISO class 5 and 6 designation, will be constructed on the Onondaga Community College (OCC) campus in the Whitney Applied Technology Center. This new lab aims to provide students with training opportunities for careers in the semiconductor and microelectronic industries. To support the renovation and revitalization of the Whitney Applied Technology Center, OCC has been collaborating with Ashley McGraw Architects. The project was officially unveiled at an event held on October 19, 2023, at OCC.
