NEW Susquehanna SPCA

The new Susquehanna SPCA facility in Cooperstown, New York replaces an aging animal shelter with a state-of-the-art animal care facility. Ashley McGraw designed the exterior envelope of the building and collaborated with Design Learned on the remainder of the facility.

Located in a rural area with a strong identity, the exterior design reflects the building’s surroundings with an appropriate design language. The building’s exterior combines traditional features with a high performance wall and roof system that will reduce operating costs and increase comfort within the building.
