Play Garden. Cunningham Park
studioMLA Architects worked with the Cunningham Park Foundation and trustees to create Anne Coghlan Play Garden at Cunningham Park in Milton, MA. The Play Garden transformed underutilized space in the Park into a new 18,000 SF natural play space for children (specifically for infants and toddlers) and families to enjoy.
The Play Garden includes a gathering space for families, refurbishment of an existing ‘spider’ climber, additional age-appropriate play equipment, butterfly gardens, sensory gardens, a live willow hut, and a 15’ long embankment slide. studioMLA Architects designed the space and collaborated with local artists to create a unique and enchanting environment.
